Mental Health Partnerships – Client Spotlight
Mental Health Partnerships was founded and continues to thrive on the basic principle that people with mental health conditions can and do recover because they have the resilience to direct their own journeys in overcoming significant adversity. Based on this conviction, they’ve spearheaded changes over six decades that have helped transform mental health services locally, statewide and across the country.
The COVID-19 outbreak has exacerbated many of the concerns for individuals experiencing mental health and addiction challenges, particularly those who may already be struggling with isolation-related issues. Mental Health Partnerships has quickly mobilized to meet the needs of its participants while taking precautions to operate within the safety parameters set by the CDC to keep both participants and staff safe. While a few programs were reduced in capacity or suspended, the majority of MHP’s programs have remained in operation through telehealth and virtual resources.
